Recovery is not one story. It is thousands of them, each one different, each one belonging to the person who lived it. What the people on this page share is a period of time at Tuscawilla Place, a commitment to sobriety, and the willingness to share some of what that looked like so that someone else might recognize themselves in it. Names are first name or initials only, in keeping with AA tradition and out of respect for the privacy that recovery deserves.

This place was built on the belief that anyone who is genuinely committed to change deserves a stable place to do that work. Whoever your higher power is, whatever brought you here, however many times you have tried before. You are welcome here.
