PAYMENT DETAILS

Payment is made in cash every Friday between 3:00 and 6:30 pm. That payment window is followed by an on-site meeting, which is one of the reasons the timing is set the way it is. The weekly payment and the weekly meeting become part of the same rhythm.

There is no grace period. Payment is due on Friday in the payment window. This is not a punitive policy. It is a structure that treats residents as capable adults who can plan for a weekly obligation, which is exactly the kind of structure early recovery benefits from.

If you have a concern about payment timing before you move in, the right time to raise it is on the intake call, not after you have moved in. Paul and the team are straightforward about what is possible.

Grant Funding for Qualifying Residents

Some treatment centers offer grant programs that can cover the cost of sober living for qualifying residents transitioning out of a treatment program. At Tuscawilla Place, we accept residents under these grant arrangements.

How grant funding works:

The grant is arranged through the referring treatment center, not directly through Tuscawilla Place

Qualifying residents must have completed the required accountability steps during their treatment program

The grant typically covers the first period of residency for eligible individuals

The treatment center coordinates the arrangement before the resident moves in

If you are coming from a treatment program and believe you may qualify for grant funding, ask your case manager or counselor whether a sober living grant is available through your center. They will coordinate directly with us.

If you are a case manager at a treatment center with a grant program and want to discuss placing a client at Tuscawilla Place under that arrangement, see our Referral Partner page or call us directly.

The process from first contact to moving in is simple. Here is exactly what happens.

01

Call, text, or apply online

Reach out by phone at (352) 622-6023, send a text to the same number, or complete the short application at tuscawillaplace.com/apply. Tell us a little about your situation. There is a $100 non-refundable application fee

02

Brief pre-screening conversation

The onside manager or a team member will have a brief conversation with you to confirm you are a good fit for the campus and there is a bed available in the right housing.

03

Confirm move-in date

Once approved, you confirm a move-in date and your bed is held from that point.

04

Arrive and get oriented

On move-in day the onsite manager will orient you to the campus, walk you through the house rules, and introduce you to the community. Your first Friday payment is due that Friday.

05

Pay weekly on Fridays

Every Friday between 3:00 and 6:30 pm, bring cash for your weekly payment. The payment window is followed by a meeting on campus. No grace period.

Who Is a Good Fit for Tuscawilla Place

Questions About Pricing and Admissions

Tuscawilla Place weekly costs vary. A $100 non-refundable application fee is required. Payment is made in cash every Friday between 3:00 and 6:30 pm. There is no grace period on payments.

Yes, for qualifying residents. Some treatment centers offer grant programs that can cover the cost of sober living for residents transitioning out of a treatment program. The grant is arranged through the referring treatment center, not directly through Tuscawilla Place. If you are coming from a treatment program, ask your case manager whether a sober living grant is available through your center.

Not necessarily. Tuscawilla Place accepts residents coming from treatment centers as well as individuals in early recovery who have not been through a formal treatment program. A genuine commitment to sobriety and willingness to follow the house rules are the requirements. Call us to discuss your specific situation.

Once you are approved and a bed is available, move-in can happen quickly. The process is a brief intake conversation, confirmation of your move-in date, and the $100 deposit on move-in day. Call or apply online and we will tell you what current availability looks like.
