The men’s residence is its own dedicated side of the campus, completely separate from women’s housing. Recovery at Tuscawilla Place is built into the daily structure of the campus. On-site AA meetings run throughout the day and evening, seven days a week. All residents on the men’s side have access to every meeting on campus. Weekly house meetings bring the community together to address shared responsibilities and reinforce the standards everyone agreed to when they moved in.
Chores and shared responsibilities are part of daily life. Maintaining the campus is a community effort, and it reflects the kind of accountability that carries into every other area of recovery.
For men who are ready to work, a temporary employment agency is nearby, and the SunTran bus route connects residents to jobs, grocery stores, and other essentials without a car. Building a productive daily routine from day one makes recovery stick. The location makes it possible.
Every resident at Tuscawilla Place, including men on the campus, lives under the same standards:
Zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs. Random testing applies to all residents.
Required participation in peer recovery meetings. 18 AA meetings on campus every week.
