The women’s residence at Tuscawilla Place is apartment-style housing. That means women have their own private living spaces, not just a shared room in a larger house.
The women’s side of the campus is completely separated from men’s housing. There is no shared living space between genders. Women come and go from their own area of the property, with their own common areas and their own daily environment.
The full-time manager is present on campus around the clock. The campus is monitored. The environment is safe.
For families placing a daughter, sister, or mother here: the separation is real and the management is present. For case managers placing female clients: privacy and safety are built into the structure of the housing, not just stated as a policy.

On-site AA meetings run throughout the day and evening, seven days a week. All residents, including women on the apartment side, have access to every meeting on campus. Chores and shared responsibilities are part of daily life on the women’s side. Maintaining the living space is a community effort, and it reflects the kind of personal accountability that recovery is built on.
For women who are ready to work, a temporary employment agency is nearby, and the SunTran bus route provides transportation to jobs, medical appointments, and other essentials. Financial independence is one of the cornerstones of lasting recovery, and the location supports that goal.
Every resident at Tuscawilla Place, including women in the apartment-side housing, lives under the same campus standards:
Zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs. Random testing applies to all residents.

A $$100 non-refundable application fee. Weekly payment is made in cash every Friday between 3:00 and 6:30 pm.
